the northwest fund provides annual support to the university with unrestricted gifts that allow the university to meet unforeseen needs as they arise and to capitalize on opportunities as they emerge.
adopt-a-bearcat scholarship ($250 minimum)
to assist in meeting a critical need for scholarship dollars, the university created the adopt-a-bearcat scholarship program to maximize donor contributions to be matched in $250 increments for a $500 scholarship.
the 1905 society ($1,000 minimum)
the 1905 society is northwest’s premier giving society for annual gifts. the 1905 society helps the university foster its tradition of philanthropy by recognizing its most generous supporters on an annual basis.
american dream grant
the american dream grant covers 100% of the tuition and fees for pell-eligible students - thus making dreams come true for undergraduates who might otherwise find a college education beyond their financial reach.
powering dreams scholarship
powering dreams scholarships target "caught in the middle" students who fall just below the eligibility level to qualify for academic awards and come from middle-class families that earn too much to qualify for financial aid.
karen l. daniel legacy fund
the karen l. daniel legacy fund establishes a cultural center primarily for black students, named in honor of daniel’s niece, dr. leslie k. doyle. it also funds scholarships for black students and assists northwest with its focus on diversity and inclusion initiatives.
