this discover your major visit day is for students who are interested in northwest and wish to learn more about areas in computer science and information systems.

you will have the opportunity to:

  • interact with faculty from the school of computer science and information systems and students majoring in related fields
  • learn about careers in computing
  • explore the northwest campus
  • learn more about:
    • admission requirements
    • scholarships
    • living on campus 
    • student organizations, meal plans and more!

computer science visit day scholarship

a $1150 scholarship will be awarded to one lucky attendee.

students interested in applying for this scholarship must do the following:

  • submit online application form
  • mail an official high school transcript to:

  • submit one recommendation covering academic, citizenship, leadership and extracurricular activities either by mailing to address above or e-mailing the recommendation to terry immel at

the scholarship application form, high school transcript, and one recommendation must be received by friday, february 26, 2021.
